DESTRUCTION OF CONFISCATED SCALES

The City Treasurer’s Office held the ceremonial destruction of confiscated weighing scales on October 1, 2024, at the Baguio City Public Market. A total of 127 weighing scales were destroyed. According to Market Supervisor CEASAR M. EMILIO, over 200 weighing scales were confiscated in 2022 but were burned during the Market fire last 2023.
