DILG RECOGNIZES BARANGAYS OF BONTOC

The 16 barangays of Bontoc receive two different awards from the Department of the Interior and Local Government. All the 16 barangays of Bontoc have conferred a Certificate of Recognition for achieving a High Functional Barangay Anti-Drug Abuse Council (BADAC) for two consecutive years, 2020 and 2021.
Also, all barangays’ “Lupong Tagapamayapa” received a Certificate of Recognition conferred by the DILG-Central Office for their exemplary efforts in maintaining peace and order in the barangays for the year 2021.
The awards were handed over by Municipal Local Government Operations Officer Lourdes Claire Peel and Mayor Odsey after he delivered his last State of the Municipality Address (SOMA) on February 7, 2022, at the Municipal Capitol Auditorium.
