Benguet Gov. Cresencio Pacalso and DA Sec. Manny Pinol inspect the six propeller drone that is currently on pilot testing in Buguias dusting crops under the supervision of Bureau of Plants and Industries (BPI). A Japanese firm is offering the drone for rent to spray vegetable gardens or rice field for P1,500 per hectare. Pinol said that the DA will sponsor the first 5,000 hectares free to the farmers.
