The DSWD-Cordillera led by Regional Director Janet Armas with Itogon Mayor Victorio Palangdan and the barangay captains and other officials signed a Memorandum of Agreement to strengthen this between DSWD’s cooperation with the local government unit on poverty reduction through the Sustainable Livelihood Program and at the same time formulate and implement institutional agreements between the DSWDCAR and the Itogon LGU including the nine barangays consistent with existing policies and strategies of DSWD and the LGU at the Itogon Training Center in Tuding, Itogon, Benguet last week.
