E-WASTE BIN LAUNCHED AT UP BAGUIO

City Environment and Parks Management Office (CEPMO) assistant head Engr. Marivic Empizo who represented CEPMO head Atty. Rhenan Diwas, presents the city’s program and initiatives for Electronic Waste (E-waste) to University of the Philippines Baguio UPB)
faculty and students, June 4 at the Chancellor’s Board Room before the installation of a recycled e-waste bin at the UP main building lobby. Corporate partner PLDT-Smart represented by Smart Communications manager Avelino Gamboa, Jr. re-affirmed support to the E-waste collection program as with the three earlier academe venue launchings; Saint Louis University (SLU), University of the Cordilleras (UC) and University of Baguio (UB), with the presence of the CEPMO Wastewater and Hazardous Waste Management Division (WHWMD) personnel. A 12-year e-waste collection program success story was also presented by UP Diliman students.
