Headstands are part of the Ashtanga Primary Series, found in the finishing sequence. Not only does this pose help relax and restore students after doing their practice, it also provides a fun moment to test their balance and practice marrying breath and movement. Just like what Teacher K always reminds us, move with your breath and you will get there.
