FAMILIES EVACUATED

The Provincial DRRMC chaired by Governor Dr. Melchor Daguines Diclas reported a total of 114 individuals who are affected by typhoon “Egay” in the province based on the official reports submitted by the Muncipal DRRMCs. At least 47 individuals are housed in evacuation centers. Most of them are in Itogon with 22 individuals, while 14 are in Tuba, six in La Trinidad, and five in
Kibungan. Meanwhile, 67 individuals are reported to have sought shelter in their relative’s house. Governor Diclas said the Municipal LGUs through their MDRRMCs have prepared their relief supplies which the Provincial LGU is set to augment in case of shortage. The governor continues to advise the public to contact their Municipal Emergency Operations Center (EOC) in case of emergency especially if they feel unsafe at their homes.
