Five hurt as jeepney dives into Benguet ravine

BAGUIO CITY (May 23, 2022) – Five passengers of a jeepney miraculously escaped death Monday morning after the jeepney driver lost control of the wheel and plunged the vehicle into a ravine along Baguio Gold in barangay Tuding, Itogon tow in Benguet.
Rommel Apilado, 36, jeep driver; Jeremy Tomas, 24; Lefty Laoyan, 22; Joven Apilado, 28; and Armando Apilado, 54, all from Baguio Gold Tuding, Itogon, Benguet.
Police initially found out that the vehicle was bound for Baguio Gold Proper in Tuding, when the jeepney went wayward straight to the 50 meter ravine.
Rescuers rushed the victims to a hospital for their injuries.
