The newly established Lion’s Nation is making its debut in ONE Championship on Friday and a
sort of reunion with their former stablemates in Team Lakay. Eduard Folayang and Jenelyn Olsim make their debut wearing the black and gold color of Lion’s Nation in the biggest mixed martial arts stage the ONE on September 29 during the ONE Fight Might 14 at the Singapore Indoor Stadium.
Folayang said that they are ready to go and fully prepared for their fight.

In her Facebook post, Olsim, the Graceful Igorota said: “The Black and Gold Era is upon us, and I couldn’t be happier!” Wearing the Iron Bunny apparel, the duo hope to bounce back from their defeat in December 3 last year with Folayang earning his fifth straight loss against Edson Marquez in the second round via a right cross.

Olsim, meanwhile, suffered a first round knockout to Bo Meng with 24 seconds remaining in the first round during the ONE Championships 164 at the Mall of Asia Arena. Folayang will face Amir
Khan, whom he beat way back in Nov. 11, 2018, in the undercard of the Stamp Fairtex – Ham Seo Hee headliner. ONE has not announced yet who Olsim will be fighting.

“The morale is rather high and we are happy that more Lion’s Nation fighters will be fighting in the ONE stage soon,” said Folayang whole will leave for Singapore with Olsim and their entourage on
Tuesday. It is interesting that Mark Sangiao and the Team Lakay will leave on the same day where
bantamweight contender Stephen Loman will face John Linneker as an undercard also to the Stamp – Hee encounter for the interim atomweight MMA world championship.

Loman hopes to get past Linneker so he could fight newly crowned bantamweight title holder Fabricio Andrade who beat his fellow American early this year. In fact, Andrade even called out Loman for a fight, which the Team Lakay member readily accepted. Former strawweight champion Joshua Pacio also debuts wearing the gold and black trunk on October 6 at the Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.

Pacio, who lost also in December 3 last year and his title to Jared Brooks. Pacio faces a dangerous and unbeaten Russian in Mansur Malachiev. Their fight isone of the undercards of the Tawanchai PK Saenchi – Superbon Singa Mawynn featherweight muay Thai world championship. Another former Team Lakay, Lito Adiwang will be fighting on September 22 in the ONE Friday Fights 34: Rodatang vs. Superlek. Adiwang is set to face Asrien Mattheis in the event to be held at the Lumpinee Boxing Stadium where Rodtang defends his featherweight world muay Thai title against
