IMEE BEGINS BIRTHDAY MONTH WITH “MUKBANG” EVENT IN BAGUIO CITY

Presidential sister and Philippine Senator Imee R. Marcos kicked-off her birthday month this November here with “#IMEEmukbang sa Baguio City”, a boodle-styled get-together with Baguio’s lolos and lolas having their natal days this month too at the Melvin Jones football field at Burnham Park Friday noon. With city officials led by Baguio City Mayor Benjamin B. Magalong, Sen. Marcos
handed out Nutribuns and toys to Baguio kids from a “NutriJeep”. The Nutribuns project of the lady senator is a continuation of his late father’s legacy nutrition program in the 70s-80s.

Senator Marcos also headed to San Juan town in La Union to oversee the distribution of government’s Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situations (AICS) from the Department of Social
Welfare and Development. Alvin Co, the Senator’s information chief said around 2,500 members of the tricycle drivers and operators groups in and Barangay Health Workers in La Union province were awarded with ?3,000 each as cash asssistance. Sen. Marcos also handed out P5,000 educational assistance to 2,000 college students of the Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State
University – San Fernando campus.
