Infusing lime

For good measure, mine workers in Lepanto mines infuse lime at the tailings dam number five. The mining firm is compliant with measurements of Total Suspended Solids (TSS) of around 25 parts/million (PPM), while the DENR standard is set at 50 PPM; and a PH Level of 7.5 reading, sampled twice a week, is compliant with DENR’s standard of 6-9 PH Level.
