JAMES WRIGHT CAFE OPENS BAKESHOP AT SM CITY BAGUIO

James Wright Café opens its first bakeshop in Baguio City, located on the Lower Ground Floor of SM CITY Baguio. Anchored on its mission to promote a healthier lifestyle, the grand opening on July 18 featured a ribbon-cutting ceremony led by James Wright Brand CEO Mr. Eric Cion Espadero, SM City Baguio Assistant Mall Manager Jason Peña, and James Wright managers and executives.

James Wright Café opened its first bakeshop Thursday at SM City Baguio. James Wright managers and executives with SM City Baguio Mall Assistant Manager Jayson Peña led the ribbon cutting ceremony that formally opened the shop n front of local media personalities. The bakeshop, a JW release said: “Is envisioned to be another haven of artisan products made using healthy, natural and locally sourced ingredients consistent with the James Wright brand.”

It added that it “promises a wider variety of handcrafted breads and pastries baked fresh everyday.” It said, “the bakeshop aims to release more healthy breads and products for its health-savvy market. JW bakeshop offers
beverages for take-out and a pasalubong counter for the on go customers.” The bakeshop’s “interior magnifies a cozy
minimalist vibe in harmony (that) brings costumer experience a notch higher with its bread and pastry island placed right in the middle of the establishment so people could have the best vantage of all products.”

The sister company of La Trinidad’s famed Valley Bread owned by Baguio City High School alum Eric Dion Espadero, James Wright first opened a coffeeshop at Session Road in 2021. A year later, a similar coffeeshop was opened at SM City Baguio’s first floor which is right in front of the newly opened bakeshop. Operation starts at 10AM and closes shop at 9PM.
