Kalinga cops destroy almost P1M worth of marijuana

Police Regional Office Cordillera (PROCOR) destroyed P952,000 worth of marijuana in the mountainous area of Tinglayan, Kalinga on April 4, 2018. In Sitio Ayyum, more or less 1,000 fully grown marijuana plants were uprooted, 1,200 fully grown marijuana plants in Sitio Pukas and more or less 1,600 fully grown marijuana plants and 4,800 marijuana seedlings were eradicated at Sitio Makilo. No cultivators were arrested but the operatives were able to uproot and burn on-site a total of 4,280 fully-grown marijuana plants and seedlings planted in a 950-square meters land area. PROCOR
