KAPANGAN LIVELIHOOD KITS

DTI Baguio-Benguet Provincial Director Atty. Samuel Gallardo with Kapangan Mayor Manny Fermin led the turn-over of the livelihood kits to 95 beneficiaries from the various barangays of the municipality during a ceremony at the municipal grounds on Tuesday, June 21, 2022.
The distribution of the livelihood kit is part of the Pangkabuhayan sa Pagbangon at Ginhawa (PPG) program of the DTI, which aims to capacitate and replenish existing and future micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) by giving them kits containing materials, equipment, and initial stocks to commence and improve their businesses.
The PPG specifically assists micro-enterprises affected by calamities and health pandemics such as the COVID-19, which has changed many lives across nations, considering those located in geographically isolated and disadvantaged areas.
