KENNON ROAD TEMPORARILY OPENED FOR LOCAL RESIDENTS ONLY

The Department of Public Works and Highways – Cordillera Administrative Region (DPWH-CAR), with the MLGU Tuba and BLGU Camp 4 officials conducted another assessment of the current situation at Camp 6 on June 14, 2023. The team agreed to continue the clearing operation by scraping the debris to make a slope road as temporary route for the local residents only. However, precaution is highly recommended to avoid untoward accidents. It is advised that non-resident motorists take Marcos Highway or Asin-Nangalisan-San Pascual Road. Estimatedly, it would take 5 days to clear the road, provided that the good weather condition continues.
