Lady drug supplier for Baguio “Red Light District” workers fall in sting

BAGUIO CITY (March 8, 2021)— Four days after her so-called “Manila Boys” drug sources were cornered, a lady drug supplier for workers at Baguio’s “red light” district along Magsaysay Avenue here also fell in a drug sting operation early dawn Monday (March 8, 2021).
Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Cordillera operatives joined in by Baguio City policemen busted Alona Deinla at around 1:00 AM Monda at Middle Quirino Hill, here after she sold a sachet of shabu to an undercover government agent.
Deinla, a native of Masbate, according to authorities, distributes drugs to workers at Magsaysay Avenue, touted as Baguio City’s “red light” district. When frisked, operatives said, she was keeping several sachets of shabu meant for her clients regularly buying from her.
Authorities are into deep in probing revelations taken from the lady drug supplier’s cellular phone about her trafficking women for prostitution business too.
The arrest of Deinla came four days after of Stephen Vincent Peralta, resident of Soldiers Village, Muntinlupa and Ezekiel Talam of Mandaluyong City in a drug sting operation in San Carlos, Irisan, also here. The duo according to the PDEA are members of the “Manila Boys” drug chain supplying drugs for drug groups here in Baguio City using private transport.
They were tracked by PDEA Cordillera and the City Government of Baguio via profiling and tracing their modus pattern.
PDEA Cordillera director Gil Castro vowed continuing efforts as their agency’s game plan to develop intelligence-driven operations targeting high value targets.
