Agriculture Secretary William Dar on Nov. 4 led in the distribution of the P5k fnancial assistance to rice farmers of the first district of Ilocos Sur.

‘’ The TRL law is not a failure but a game-changer that has continuously supported the local rice farmers to increase production and profit,” the agri chief added, pointing on critics of the program.
The distribution of (RCEF-RFFA) cash assistance was marked by the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA), establishing a Pesticide Residue Testing Facility in Sta. Catalina, Ilocos Sur.
Dar led the signing together with Sta. Catalina Mayor Edgar Rapanut and DA Region 1 Executive Director Nestor Domenden.
