Land Titling Computerization Project

Local land owners and developers in Baguio- La Trinidad-Itogon- Sablan-Tuba-Tublay (BLISTT) area, welcomed the Land Titling Computerization Project (LTCP) of Land Registration Authority (LRA) through its
eSerbiyso portal – aimed to streamlined the processing of certified true copies (CTC) of documents and titles. In a chance interview with some land owners in the city and in La Trinidad, they expressed it will greatly reduced their time and effort in processing their documents.

Some lamented that despite completing all the necessary requirements it took them several months to receive their titles. Under the LTCP it will provide a secured titles and documents and prevent duplication and overlaps, and standardize the processes, fees and requirements, among others. In the recently concluded national convention of the Subdivision and Housing Developers Association (SHDA), Teddy Sumulong, Chief Executive Officer and President of Land Registration System, Inc., said individuals
can request CTC documents and land titles from LRA by registering through the eSerbisyo portal.

It also include e-payment in the eSerbisyo portal through Gcash, Paymaya,Landbank and any Mastercard and Visas cards, among others. Local developers also expressed support of the project.They said it will hasten the delivery of housing services and units to prospective homebuyers, and also one way of reducing the housing backlogs.
