LPGMA TO ADVOCATE LPG SAFE USAGE IN CAR VIA PANAGBENGA FESTIVAL

Baguio City – The LPG Marketers Association (LPGMA) and REGASCO is participating in the Panagbenga Festival 2024 in Baguio City, advocating responsible LPG use. Together with the ambassadors from the TV series “Batang Quiapo,” these organizations are dedicated to promote awareness and adherence to the strict guidelines set forth by RA 11592, commonly known as the LPG Law. Cong. Arnel Ty, President of LPGMA Partylist highlighted the importance of Panagbenga Festival 2024 in promoting LPG Law, “Mino-monitor po namin even the Department of Energy (DOE) is giving their report na marami pa ring ilegal dahil hindi po alam ng consumer ang batas kaya napipilitan silang i-patronize ang unsafe cylinders.

But this month, they committed that they will be more active in doing the inspections.” “Ngayon, ang gagawin namin is to help them spread the right information about LPG Law. Ty. The strict implementation of RA 11592, or the LPG Law, ensures the safety and welfare of the consumers and the community in general.

It establishes comprehensive guidelines for the proper handling, storage, and distribution of LPG, creating a framework that actively safeguards against potential hazards. On the exchange of dilapidated cylinders, Cong. Ty strongly encourages the consumers, “‘Yung mga walang brand, walang tare weight or safety features ng cylinders, kailangan pong palitan ‘yan.

Maaasahan niyo po ang LPG industry lalo na ang REGASCO and we will continue to support it.” LPGMA, REGASCO and the “Batang Quiapo” cast will promote LPG Law at the Burnham Park on Saturday, February 24 and will join the Panagbenga Grand Parade.
