BAGUIO CITY
Two individual from Cavite and five vacationist from Bataan, who are first timer visiting the Summer Capital to spent the observance of Lenten Season were picks by the Baguio Correspondents and Broadcasters Club (BCBC) as Baguio-Benguet Lucky Summer Visitor 2023. BCBC President Joseph Cabanas, of Radyo Pilipinas, said the media selection committee picks the first two as Ciara Balmaceda 26, administrative staff and his boyfriend Ivan Maglis 25,both from Bacoor, Cavite.
The group of five vacationist are Ivy Cayabyab,30; Lea Cayabyab,25; Rechelle Ramos,36;Joan Velez,38 and Genalyn Billones,37, all from Mariveles, Bataan. Cabanas said, the two rode at Victory Bus and left Pasay and they luckily searched by the media group at around 8:00 am in Pugo, La Union, while the five were picks from Genesis Bus at 8:30 am. The lucky visitors will be given four days of red carpet treat which includes accommodation, meals, ,token and guided tours to the different tourist sites in the city and nearby towns of La Trinidad and Tuba in Benguet.
Pugo Mayor Kurt Martin welcomed and congratulates the seven lucky visitor were a mini presscon was held in this town. Motoring towards town of Tuba they will made a courtesy call to Mayor Clarita Sal-ongan and proceeded to Lion’s head in Kennon Road for a photo opportunity from the members of the media.
The lucky visitors will be taken to the media camp in Burnham Park to be introduced to BCBC members and join them for lunch before being taken to their hotel accommodation. The search for LSV is an annual project of the BCBC since 1958 with the partnership of the city government of Baguio, La Trinidad and Tuba local government and the province of Benguet.
