Manila lady cop heading home to Abra in “hot waters” after faking RT-PCR test

BAGUIO CITY (September 10, 2021)— A lady cop assigned at the Southern Police District (SPD) in Taguig City who headed home to her hometown in Abra is in “hot waters” after she was found to have faked her RT-PCR test.
Possibly facing charges from the Abra Provincial Anti-Covid 19 Task Force (PATF),  Emarie Joy Bradley Garcia, 31,  she and 5 other members of her family allegedly showed border control authorities at the entrance of the province at Tangadan tunnel in San Quintin town counterfeit documents.
Garcia, 31, assigned at the District Mobile Force Battalion of the SPD,  came from Taguig City and headed home to Daguioman town in Abra showing negative Corona Virus Disease (Covid 19) results and a Safe, Swift and Smart Passage or S-pass.
They arrived at barangay Tui, Daguioman at 1:00 PM Thursday.
When personnel of the Daguioman Rural Health Unit (RHU) verified the RT-PCR results Garcia presented at the checkpoint, the QR code of the documents cannot be scanned.  After further verification, it was confirmed that the molecular diagnostic laboratory named in the so-called RT-PCR test result have not conducted RT-PCR test to Garcia and her family.
Abra governor Joy Bernos fuming in her social media account promised the lady cop will pay for the breach.
Meanwhile, the Abra Provincial Health Office (PHO) reported that from September 7 to 9, 2021, the province has 250 new Covid 19 cases.
The province on September 9, 2021 also logged the 59th Covid-related death of a 29-year old woman with bronchial asthma.***Artemio A. Dumlao***
