MEAT MISHANDLING

The team, comprising the Health Services Office (HSO), City Veterinary and Agriculture Office (CVAO), City Treasurer’s Office (CTO), and Public Order and Safety Division (POSD), confiscated mishandled meat products at the meat section of the Baguio City Public Market. According to Animal Products Inspector Elsa Peralta, a total of 160kg of meat products were confiscated and brought to the City Veterinary Office for proper disposal. The vendors also conducted a clean-up with flushing activity to remove dirt and other materials.
