Motorists with light vehicles are allowed to pass thru the Gotong Bailey Bridge atvBusa, Sabangan which was opened in November 2019 for easier access to Mountain Province.

The Busa section of the Halsema Highway was damaged during the onslaught of typhoon Ompong in October 2018 and while waiting for the funding for the restoration of the road cut, the DPWH provided a bailey bridge as a temporary bridge for travelers passing thru the Halsema Highway.

Motorists going in and out of the province can still take the Mabaay-Abatan-Nacagang provincial road to reach their destinations in the province.
