NATIONAL IRRIGATORS MEETING

NIA Administrator Engr. Eddie G. Guillen briefly outlines his agency’s programs during the
recent Consultation Meeting of the National Confederation of Irrigators Association (NCIA) at NIA Central Office in Quezon City. Present in the meeting were NCIA President Remy N. Albano, Regional Confederation of Irrigators Associations (RCIA) Presidents nationwide, NIA Senior Deputy Administrator Engr. Robert C. Suguitan, and Deputy Administrator for Administrative and Finance Sector Ralph Lauren A. Du. The meeting focused on the plans and programs of NIA
to secure the welfare of IAs through convergence initiatives, request of NCIA for additional funds for operations and maintenance, among others.
