Sen. Imee Marcos was the guest of Honor during the National Youth Convention held in the grounds of the Philippine Military Academy today as the Senator administered the Oath of Office for the following SK National Representatives. As the Senator extolled the youth to actively participate in the National Policy making decisions. As some 1,000 provincial chapter presidents of the Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) will converge in Baguio City for the National Youth Convention 2023 spearheaded by the National Youth Commission (NYC) on December 7-10, 2023. The National Youth Commission (NYC) is responsible for policy formulation on, and review of, youth promotion and development programs, establishment of a consultative mechanism for dialogue with the youth, and linkaging with government and non-government organizations both at the national and international levels.
