Over 2M worth of marijuana, burned 1 drug personality busted

The relentless anti-illegal drugs operations of PROCOR have yielded in the discovery of Php 2,152,000.00 worth of fully-grown marijuana plants (FGMJP) in Benguet on March 24, 2022.
Based on the reports submitted to PROCOR Regional Director, PBGEN RONALD OLIVER LEE, operatives of 1st Benguet Provincial Mobile Force Company have discovered a total of three marijuana plantation sites in Brgy. Tacadang, Kibungan.
According to the same reports, a total of 10,760 pcs of FGMJP were planted on the three sites with an estimated land area of 1,390 sqm and a standard drug price of Php 2,152,000.00.
All marijuana plants were uprooted and burned on-site. Further, no cultivator was apprehended during the said operation while an investigation is ongoing to identify possible cultivators.
Meanwhile, in a separate anti-illegal drug operation in Pico, La Trinidad, a drug personality identified as Garinzon Uno Milo, 39, was arrested by operatives of La Trinidad Municipal Police Station after he sold one (1) sachet of suspected shabu weighing 0.35 gram and an SDP of Php 2,380.00 to an operative acting as a poseur buyer.
The inventory of the pieces of evidence recovered was conducted on-site in the presence of the arrested suspect duly witnessed by DOJ representative, Prosecutor Andres Gondayao, and Barangay Kagawad Delmar Siagol of Pico, La Trinidad, Benguet. The suspect and confiscated pieces of evidence were brought to the La Trinidad MPS for proper disposition and documentation.
