A new adventure destination, the Pan Ay-ayaman Playground Ecopark, has opened in Barangay Taluy Sur here. The park is conveniently
located just 18 kilometers from Baguio City proper. A scenic ride takes approximately 30 minutes, perfect for a quick getaway. Along the Marcos Highway, visitors enjoy beautiful mountain views and well-paved winding roads en route to the ecopark’s entrance. The park used to be a citrus farm, spans a total of seven hectares, catering to both thrill-seekers and families looking for a relaxing day out, opens daily from 9 AM to 6 PM, allowing ample time for be exploration. The park is closed on Tuesdays for maintenance.
Entrance fees are P100 for regular visitors and P80 for children, seniors, and persons with disabilities. Upon entering, visitors are welcomed by lush greenery and the sounds of chirping birds, creating a serene atmosphere ideal for relaxation. Children ages 3 to 9 can enjoy the playground featuring swings and seesaws. The playground is designed to blend with nature, featuring colorful structures that spark children’s imaginations. Parents can relax on benches, watching their kids play.
In addition to the playground, the ecopark offers mountain biking, ATV rides, and thrilling 4×4 experiences, allowing visitors to explore
rugged terrain and stunning views. A standout feature is the enchanting hobbit house, handcrafted by local artist Resty Lopez. This whimsical structure invites guests to explore its cozy interior. Lopez emphasized safety in the hobbit house’s design, stating, “We avoided sharp objects, ensuring safety, especially for children.” This reflects the Bayating family’s commitment to security. The park is a family
venture initiated by the Bayating Family during the pandemic in 2021. Initially, they offered only biking activities but later it expanded.
Owner Maril Bayating explains, “We are preserving the natural landscape by returning it to its forest state..a dedication to conservation
shines throughout the park.’
