Government officials of La Trinidad, headed by Mayor Romeo Salda and Vice Mayor Roderick Awingan, started their Yuletide season with colors with the traditional lighting of its Christmas tree at the municipal grounds on Friday (December 2) – a symbolic reverence to Almighty and seeking blessings for a prosperous New Year.
The Philippine Rondalla Serenata also marked the event with their special rendition of Christmas carols to warm everyone amid the cool evening climate.
