Pechay farm in Baguio City

A  lady farmer from Lourdes Extension Barangay waters the “pechay farm” in the barangay as part of the livelihood program of the women’s group. The more than 1,000 square meter garden is one of the source of income of the women’s group. They sell their vegetable harvest at the “bagsakan area in the Baguio City market”. But this 56-year- old lady farmer fear that the weather bureau has already forecasted the upcoming dry season in the area and it may affect their harvest.
