Municipality of Mankayan, September 19, 2024 Strengthening local collaboration, the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Benguet Provincial Statistical Office, in close partnership with the Municipality of Mankayan, successfully launched the National ID ‘Rehistro Bulilit’ campaign, together with the updating of demographics services. The activity, held on September 19, 2024, at Mankayan, Benguet, showcased the effective partnership between the PSA and the local government of Mankayan.
This collaboration ensured the smooth facilitation of various services, benefitting 77 clients who availed of the following: Step 2 Registration for 1-4 year-olds: 9 Registration for 5 year-olds and above: 30 Updating of Demographics: 25 The unwavering support of the municipality of Mankayan was pivotal in making this event a success, particularly in mobilizing the community and providing logistical assistance. By working hand-in-hand, the PSA and the local government ensured that even the youngest members of the community could be registered under the Philippine Identification System (PhilSys).
Additionally, an Information Education Campaign (IEC) on the Birth Registration Assistance Project (BRAP) was conducted to raise awareness about the importance of birth registration, offering vital information and assistance to residents in need. The partnership between the PSA and the municipality of Mankayan highlights the commitment of both institutions to provide accessible and essential services to the public. Together, they continue to push for a more inclusive system of identification and registration, ensuring that no one is left behind.
