The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) PhilSys Benguet team is proud to announce the successful completion of the National ID registration and demographic updating operation held at Barangay Kayapa. This operation, conducted in close partnership with the Municipal Civil Registrar’s Office of Bakun, Benguet underscores PSA’s steadfast commitment to inclusivity and comprehensive identification services.

In this recent initiative, the PSA PhilSys Benguet team successfully facilitated 169 PhilSys Step 2 registrations,
enabling residents of Barangay Kayapa to receive their National ID—a crucial step in the government’s national
identification program. Additionally, 13 residents took advantage of the demographic updating service, ensuring that
their personal information is current and accurately reflected in the National ID system.

This onsite registration and updating effort reflect the PSA’s dedication to reaching all corners of the country, making essential identification services accessible to all Filipinos, particularly in remote and underserved areas. By bringing these services directly to the community, PSA PhilSys Benguet is enhancing the efficiency of the National ID
System and supporting its goal of inclusivity.
