Gov. Pacoy, represented by Executive Asst. IV Justo Orros III and Department of Environment and Natural Resources – Environmental Management Bureau (DENR-EMB) director Maria Dorica Naz-Hipe join in the dispersal of around 76,000 tilapia fingerlings on the Amburayan River during the “Piesta ti Karayan Amburayan” on July 5, 2019 with DENR-EMB officers spearheaded by governing board members of the Lower Amburayan River System–Water Quality Management Area (LARS-WQMA) aiming to intensify public awareness and participation in protecting the majestic river.
LARS–WQMA encompasses the Municipalities of Bangar, Santol, and Sudipen in the province of La Union.
