PRO COR AND IFUGAO LGU BREAK GROUND FOR NEW ALFONSO LISTA MUNICIPAL POLICE STATION

A new facility for the Alfonso Lista Municipal Police Station will soon rise in Brgy. Sta. Maria, Alfonso Lista, Ifugao, following a groundbreaking ceremony and time capsule placement held on February 4, 2025. The new station, a
standard Type B/C design, is funded through the National Expenditure Program 2025 and will be constructed on a land generously donated by the Alfonso Lista Local Government Unit (LGU).  The project underscores the commitment of both the LGU and the Philippine National Police (PNP) in bolstering law enforcement infrastructure in the region.

Also present during the ceremony were Hon. Christian Tom Guinomon, Executive Assistant from the Office of the Governor; Hon. Edralin B. Alipio, Municipal Mayor of Alfonso Lista; members of the Sangguniang Bayan; and
representatives from various line agencies, religious sectors, and the Municipal Advisory Group for Police Transformation and Development. In a message delivered on behalf of Hon. Jerry U. Dalipog, Governor of Ifugao, Hon. Guinomon emphasized the importance of security and public order in driving progress and development. He highlighted that a strong and well-equipped police force is vital in maintaining peace, upholding justice, and ensuring the safety of the people of Ifugao.

Mayor Edralin B. Alipio also expressed deep gratitude to the PNP, especially PRO CAR Cops, for their unwavering commitment to serving and protecting the people of Alfonso Lista. He acknowledged the sacrifices and dedication of police officers in maintaining peace and order in the municipality. In his response message, PBGEN PEREDO, JR, thanked the Ifugao LGU for their support and land donation. He highlighted that the project strengthens law enforcement capabilities and fosters closer police-community relations. “My sincere thanks to everyone who
contributed to making this project possible. Let us continue working together to build a safer and stronger Alfonso Lista. May this endeavor bring lasting benefits to our community,” he said.
