Police Regional Office 1 Regional Director, Brig.Gen. Lou Evangelista solidifies PRO 1’s commitment to collaborative public safety initiatives across the region following the series of key engagements with strengthened partnerships with local government officials in La Union and Pangasinan, since January 3, The day was kick-started with a productive courtesy call with San Fernando City Mayor Hermenegildo Gualberto in this camp. Evangelista and Mayor Gualberto engaged in open dialogue, laying the foundation for enhanced cooperation in ensuring the safety and security of San Fernando residents.

Later, Evangelista, accompanied by Col. Jeff Fanged, provincial director of Pangasinan Police Provincial Office and Lt.Col. Edgar Palaylay, chief of police of Malasiqui MPS paid a visit to 3rd District Representative, Maria Rachel J. Arenas in Malasiqui. This meeting solidified PRO 1’s dedication to working closely with the legislative branch to address community concerns and implement effective security measures. In the afternoon, Evangelista conducted spot inspection in Malasiqui MPS.

This proactive approach assessed the station’s resources, personnel, and operational procedures,
ensuring optimal service delivery to the community. Continuing the theme of collaboration, Evangelista also had a meeting with Malasiqui Mayor Noel Anthony M. Geslani and Vice-Mayor Alfe M. Soriano. The meeting facilitated indepth discussions on specific local concerns and the cocreation of initiatives to bolster safety and security throughout the municipality.

The final engagement involved a courtesy call to Dagupan City Mayor Belen T. Fernandez. This visit reaffirmed PRO 1’s unwavering commitment to partnering with the city government in safeguarding the well-being of Dagupan residents. “These fruitful engagements solidify PRO 1’s
dedication to building robust partnerships with local leaders across La Union and Pangasinan.
