PSA BENGUET CONDUCTS THE JUNE 2025 LABOR FORCE SURVEY (LFS)

The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) – Benguet will be conducting the nationwide June 2025 Labor Force Survey (LFS) this June. The
LFS gathers data on the demographic and socio-economic characteristics of the members of the family. It is a monthly household survey that measures the country’s current labor market and is used to calculate national and regional employment and unemployment rates. It is the major source of data for labor force and is a vital instrument in assessing the current state of the Philippine labor market. This LFS round will be conducted from 09 to 30 June 2025 and the Computer Assisted Personal Interviewing (CAPI) application as a method of data collection will be utilized during field operation.

Relative to this, PSA-Benguet encourages everyone, especially the selected sample households in Benguet including Baguio City to please support and cooperate in the said conduct of the said undertaking. With your cooperation, this survey will yield accurate and up-to-date
data needed for effective planning and policy-decision making. Under Section 26 of Republic Act 10625, the household supplied information will be held strictly confidential and the report cannot be used for purposes of taxation, investigation or enforcement procedure, nor will be published except in the form of statistical summaries in which no reference to any individual person shall appear.
