REMEMBERING THE 321ST DAILY FILIPINO DEATHS DUE TO TOBACCO

321 pairs of shoes, sandals, and slippers were installed at Malcolm Square, on April 21, to commemorate the number of Filipinos who die each day because of tobacco-related diseases.
A short program was held and attended by City Health Officer Dr. Rowena Galpo, Atty. Kristina Louise Magalong representing Mayor Benjamin Magalong, Atty. Sophia San Luis, Executive Director of ImagineLaw, and Councilor Joel Alangsab, principal author of the Smoke-Free Baguio Ordinance.
