REP. PABLO ORTEGA FILES COC AS SUBSTITUTE BET FOR COUNCILOR

SAN FERNANDO CITY, La Union – Incumbent La Union First District Representative Pablo C. Ortega has filed his certificate of candidacy (COC) at City Comelec – office last March 18, 2022, as substitute candidate of his late brother Councilor Ramon “Monetskie” Ortega, who died last month due to heart ailments.
Pablo, a member of the Nationalist Peoples Coalition, is running under the team of Governor Pacoy Ortega, who is running for mayor in this city. He filed his COC at the Commission on Elections here at around 10:30 a.m. accompanied by his supporters and family members.
“It is our family’s decision to select me as a substitute for Monetskie because other family members have filed in various positions,” Pablo said. Pablo did not seek reelection for his third and final term as Congressman in the First district but give way to his son Paolo for the position.
