Douglas Rufino (middle), Regional Director of Bureau of Internal Revenue – Cordillera, reports on its agency’s collection performance -2021 taxable year.
The agency collected a total of P5,999,974,326.42 billion, exceeding its annual assigned goal of P400 million plus which gained recognition as among the Top 10 agencies nationwide—mainly based on teamwork demonstrated by the hardworking men and women of BIR-CAR and through tax compliance of valued taxpayers region-wide, among others.
Lorna Binarao (extreme right), Assistant Regional Director, and Wilfredo Reyes, Revenue District Officer of Baguio City (right), also participated in presenting the agency’s tax administration efforts, and other respective heads of the agency during the press forum hosted by Cordillera Association of Regional Executives (CARE) supported by Philippine Information Agency (PIA) -Cordillera held at the agency’s facility in Baguio City.
