Riding-in-tandem Assassins Gun Down Farmer In Ilocos Sur

Unidentified motorcycle riding assassins gunned down a farmer along the national highway in Barangay Sinabaan, Bantay, Ilocos Sur 4:50 Monday afternoon.
Bantay town police said Bernardo Molina Nuñez, 52, from Barangay Sinabaan, Bantay, did not reach the Metro Vigan Cooperative Hospital alive after he was shot twice on the chest and once on the head.
Police investigators said the gunmen trailed Nuñez while on his tricycle and chanced upon him at an area along the highway where nobody could witness the killing.
Crime scene investigators found three spent shells of Caliber 45 firearm where the farmer was shot.
The police is yet to determine the motive behind the killing.
