Rose producers in Bahong and Alno barangays the so called “Rose Capital of the Country” in La Trinidad are feeling the pinch of the economic downturn due to the COVID Pandemic.
Rose farmer Greg Ato said that they are now reduce to four rose farmers in the vast valley and he has to let go of some of his farm hands.
But, said that with the Valentines coming up he might break even. Each bundle of 24 extra-long (XL) “Gala Rose” is price at 700 roughly around 30 pesos per rose farm gate price, Friday.
