SALDA RECOGNIZES IMPORTANCE OF LEGISLATIVE AWARENESS

LA TRINIDAD, Benguet

Mayor Romeo Salda said the 4th Legislative Awareness celebration is significant in sustaining the
progress of their town as he recognized the efforts of the members of the Sangguniang Bayan (SB) in coming up with ordinances and resolutions. Mayor Salda, who was present in the culmination of the activity likewise expressed his gratitude to the members of the council for supporting his
administration’s programs.

“The council is very supportive. They approved all our programs and projects,” said Salda, describing having a good working relationship with the legislative body since his first term as mayor. He hopes that it will remain that way in order to finish all projects that have started –
expansion of municipal health office, tourism and municipal building, and improvement of the vegetable trading post, the main source of local revenue.

Salda is optimistic that all these projects will be finished before his term of office ends. In other development, he wished that the situation will become normal to regain opportunities for growth in the face of the pandemic . For him Christmas is about love, joy, peace, sharing and thanksgiving.
