SALDA WELCOMES NEW DEV’T FOR MSMES, DTI AWARD REG’L CMCI TOP HONOR TO LT

Mayor Romeo Salda welcomed Provincial Director Felicitas O. Bandonill of the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Baguio-Benguet during her visit in La Trinidad. PD Bandonill expressed her gratitude for the LGU’s continuous support of MSMEs in the municipality. Their discussion highlighted the newly renovated Negosyo Center La Trinidad facility provided by LGU La Trinidad which will serve as an avenue for product promotions, skills training, business counseling, and other programs that encourage local entrepreneurs to grow.

Further, PD handed over the town’s awards from the 11th CAR CMCI Recognition: – 1st Place Regionwide Overall Most Competitive Municipality – 1st Place Regionwide INFRASTRUCTURE – 1st Place Regionwide Economic Dynamism – 3rd Place Regionwide INNOVATION Salda tasked Mr. Orlando Pacya, MSME Focal Person, to assist the DTI in the opening of the full operations of the center.
