Senior citizen beheaded by his cousin in La Union Province
SAN FERNANDO CITY, La Union – A 64 years old senior citizen was dead after he was beheaded by his cousin in Barangay Pagdalagan this city on Friday (Jan. 21, 2022).
Police here identified the victim as Beinbenido Bautista, single, while the suspect is identified as Eduardo Marso,the victim’s cousin, a married fellow and a neighboring resident of the said area.
Based on the report, the suspect’s wife (victim’s relatives) told that she was home and preparing to cook after the crime happened as she suddenly saw his husband allegedly chasing our son with long 12 inches bolo.
According to the wife while chasing the suspect’s son he immediately ran away while asking for help from the authorities.
Allegedly the suspect is mentally-ill , according to the wife.
The suspect was arrested by the responding authorities together with the crime evidence under his possession. It was also learned that the suspect had been imprisoned for the same crime 10 years ago but was released on parole. Now he was at the custody of San Fernando City police station for proper disposal.
