SIGNATURE CAMPAIGN
The stakeholders at the La Trinidad Vegetable Trading Post held a signature campaign including consumers and clients to show the vegetable industry players denouncing the continuous smuggling of carrots from China flooding the key markets in Metro Manila and other provinces which they said is slowly killing the local carrots production and the farmers as well not only in Benguet but also in the Cordillera region during a protest on Valentine’s Day, February 14, 2022.
