Laoag City Mayor Michael Marcos Keon together with Hans “Chico” Sy Jr., President of SM Engineering Design and Development, Steven Tan, President of SM Supermalls, Jeffrey Lim, President of SM Prime Holdings, Herbert Sy, Member of the SM Prime Holdings Board of Directors lead in the historic activity. Also present are Ilocos Norte Governor Matthew Marcos Manotoc, Presidential Assistant Ana Carmela Remigio, Vice Mayor Rey Carlos Fariñas and other officials. Mayor Keon said:’ The opening of SM City Laoag is more than just the inauguration of a modern shopping destination. It signals the beginning of a new and promising chapter in our city’s development.
