A 2-day live in seminar entitled MPOWER Leadership Seminar on Tobacco control training was held last July 30 and 31 at the Venus Parkview Hotely. Resource speakers included Dr. Donnabel Tubera- Panes Medical Officer IV CHO,Dr. Antonette Agpas PHO-Benguet,Ms. Cecille C. Agpawa Smoke Free Baguio Project Team Leader,Rowena Comilang Smoke Free Benguet Project Manager.
MPOWER is a policy package that is intended to assist the country-level implementation for effective intervention in decreasing the demand for tobacco use, as stated in the WHO Framework Convention on Tobacco Control.
