SN Aboitiz Power-Benguet (SNAP-Benguet) is one of the regional awardees at the Regional Productivity Olympics of the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR) held on July 25, 2023 in Baguio City. The Productivity Olympics is a biennial competition organized by the National Wages and Productivity Commission (NWPC) with Regional Tripartite Wages and Productivity Boards (RTWPBs) nationwide, with this year’s theme, “From Striving to Thriving: Reset and Reposition for Impact.”

SNAP-Benguet is one of nine Micro, Small, and Medium sized Enterprises (MSMEs) from the Agribusiness, Industrial, and Service industries recognized as Regional Winners. The enterprises were categorized according to the number of employees. Those with one to nine employees are microenterprises while small and medium categories are for enterprises with 10-99 and 100 and more employees, respectively.

The winners were determined based on their productivity enhancement initiatives, employee engagement and expansion, business excellence, initiatives that address gender equality and social inclusion, worker development interventions, green program practices, and corporate social responsibility. As a regional winner, SNAP-Benguet demonstrates meaningful positive change for
their employees, the environment, and their communities. The company will represent CAR at the National Productivity Olympics competition in September 2023.
