The Social Security System (SSS) proudly recognizes two employers in Benguet for demonstrating outstanding dedication to fulfilling their
social security obligations. SSS Acting Vice President for Luzon North 1 Division Nancy Umoso awarded Certificates of Compliance to
Hedcor Inc. and Child and Family Service Phils for timely remittance of SSS contributions, prompt registration of newly hired employees, regular updating of employment records, and consistent fulfillment of other SSS-mandared obligations. “This recognition underscores the vital role of responsible employers in upholding the SSS system and safeguarding the workforce.
We salute Hedcor Inc. and Child and Family Service Phils. as shining examples of employers who place people’s welfare at the heart of their mission, helping build a more secure and resilient future for all Filipino workers,” Umoso said. Hedcor Inc., a subsidiary of Aboitiz Power engaged in renewable energy generation in the Philippines, has been operating in La Trinidad, Benguet since July 2005. The company has been consistently remitting SSS contributions without any recorded gaps for the past 20 years. As of April this year, the
company has 325 employees under its care. Likewise, Child and Family Service Philippines, a Baguio-based foster care institution established in April 1988, was commended for its longstanding compliance with SSS regulations. As of April 2025, the organization employs 16 staff members
