Suspek sa pagpatay sa vice mayor sumuko

CAMP OSCAR M FLORENDO, La Union – Personal na sumuko ang isang opisyal ng pulisya na kinasuhan sa pag-ambus kay Balaoan Vice Mayor Al-fred Concepcion noong Nobyembre 2018, ayon sa ulat ng Police Regional Office-1 (PRO1).
Kinilala ni Police Brig. Gen. Rodolfo S Azurin Jr., regional director, ang sumuko na si P/Master Sergeant Dario Naval Cahigas, nakatalaga sa Regional Police Holding Assistance Service, matapos ipalabas ang warrant of arrest na inisyu ng Balaoan Regional Trial Court noong Agosto 17, sa kasong two counts of murder, and four counts of attempted murder.
“He will undergo judicial proceedings and shall serve the penalty prescribed by the law if proven guilty. We will not tolerate any form of misconduct in the rank and file. We will make sure that the rules will be implemented squarely,” ayon kay Azurin.
Matatandaan, noong Nobyembre 14, 2018, si Concepcion, kasama ang escort ay napatay sa ambus habang ang convoy ni Balaoan Mayor Aleli Concepcion, ay patungo sa municipal hall.
