TINUNGBO FESTIVAL STREET DANCE

After three years of hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic, street dancers from the various schools in Pugo, La Union showcased their talents during the street dance competition of the 2024 Tinungbo Festival over the weekend. The Tinungbo festival took its name from the local dialect tinungbo which is an indigenous way of cooking rice and fresh water and other local delicacies light young bamboo internodes, locally called as tubong, grilled over charcoal or low fire.
